Dr. Tim Collins

Dr. Tim Collins received his Bachelors degree in Physiology from UC Davis in 1989.   He continued his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, earning his DDS in 1993. Dr. Tim Collins was then selected to join an elite group of recent graduates for a Post- Doctoral General Practice Residency at UCLA Medical Center.  He entered private practice along side his father in San Diego where they worked together until his father’s retirement.  In 1999 Dr. Tim Collins joined with Dr. David Landau to create a modern dental facility, Complete Dental Health, in the same building that once housed his father’s family practice.

As a partner in Complete Dental Health, Dr. Tim Collins works diligently to stay at the fore front of restorative and preventative dentistry.   Dr. Tim Collins has studied at some of the most notable institutes in the profession including the Dr. John Kois Center for Creating Restorative Excellence in Seattle, Washington.  He has also received training in advanced prosthetics, surgical implant placement, and neuro-muscular pain reduction therapy.  Dr. Tim Collins has become of the leading providers of Invisalign orthodontics in San Diego County.  He is the only General Practitioner in San Diego to achieve the status of Premier Provider of Invisalign Orthodontics and he has lectured on the Invisalign system to many local dentists. Dr. Tim Collins stays active in many leading dental organizations including The World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry, The Summit Study Club, the Southwest Chapter of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The ADA, The CDA, and the San Diego County Dental Society.  Dr. Tim Collins’s practice is focused on advanced restorative, cosmetic and sedation dentistry, Invisalign Orthodontics, implant dentistry, and NTI appliances for the reduction head, neck, and facial pain.
