Alternative Composite Resin Fillings

Traditional silver amalgam fillings contain 50% mercury and have been around for over 100 years. There has been growing debate over whether or not these fillings are safe or not because of their mercury content. While there have not been any scientific studies showing evidence that silver fillings may pose any threat to your health, many dentists are offering alternative, more advanced technology for their patients fillings.

Bonded ceramic composite resins are a great alternative to the old technology of the dark, unnatural and unappealing silver fillings. Composite resins are more natural looking since they are the same color as teeth so you can't even notice them at all.
